M/SPACEでは株式会社MONSTER工場内のご見学と縫製業のご説明、実際に縫製を体験いただけるワークショップを企画しております。

「RENEW（リニュー）」は、福井県鯖江市・越前市・越前町で開催される、持続可能な地域づくりを目指した工房見学イベントです。
会期中は、越前漆器・越前和紙・越前打刃物・越前箪笥・越前焼・眼鏡・繊維の７産地の工房・企業を一斉開放し、見学やワークショップを通じて、一般の人々が作り手の想いや背景を知り、技術を体験しながら商品の購入を楽しめます。
また、RENEWでは狭義の産業観光だけにとどまらず、社会的意義の高い活動を行う全国各地のローカルプレーヤーが産地に集うマーケット「まち／ひと／しごと -Localism Expo Fukui-」も開催予定。国内最大規模となる一大イベントを、ぜひご堪能ください。

We will participate in “RENEW/2024” which will be held from Friday, November 1, 2012.
M/SPACE plans to offer a tour of the MONSTER factory, an explanation of the sewing industry, and a workshop where you can actually experience sewing.

RENEW” is a workshop tour event held in Sabae City, Echizen City, and Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture, with the aim of promoting sustainable community development.
During the event, workshops and companies from seven production areas (Echizen lacquerware, Echizen Japanese paper, Echizen hammered blades, Echizen chests, Echizen pottery, glasses, and textiles) will open their doors to the public at the same time. Through tours and workshops, the public can learn about the thoughts and background of the makers and experience their techniques while enjoying purchasing products.
RENEW will not be limited to industrial tourism in the narrow sense of the term, but will also include “Town/Hito/Shigoto -Localism Expo Fukui-,” a market where local players from all over Japan who are engaged in activities of high social significance will gather in production centers. We hope you will enjoy this major event, which will be the largest of its kind in Japan.
